In 1985, a large Fortune 100 industrial company became aware of Benham pioneering 3D interactive graphic CADD design capabilities. We were interviewed and selected for the design of a solvent recovery facility. Based on the success of this project, we continued to perform engineering and construction phase services on over 35 major projects in 12 manufacturing plants worldwide.

Ten years later, our client issued an RFP for selection of preferred engineering supplier. Of approximately, 100 firms considered, 12 were short-listed and four firms were interviewed. Benham was formally selected, as the first preferred engineering supplier, and we have provided A/E design, controls, environmental, and construction management services on over 4,000 projects that include new plants, upgrades and expansions at over 30 manufacturing plants worldwide, as well as numerous office and laboratory upgrades at the corporate headquarters. Many of the manufacturing office and laboratory projects involved upgrades to facilities and processes in order to conform with current building codes and other regulatory requirements such as Good Manufacturing Practices Design.
