Evans Army Community Hospital Alteration & Expansion

Benham provided complete A/E design services for the $27M renovation of the first and second floor outpatient clinic areas and the renovation and expansion of the Emergency Department of the Evans Army Community Hospital (EACH).  EACH is a full service hospital providing complete care to soldiers and family members at Fort Carson. The project was designed in accordance with Uniform Facilities Criteria (UFC) 4-510-01, Design: Medical Military Facilities; the Americans with Disabilities Act and Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Guidelines for Buildings and Facilities; and UFC 4-010-01, Design: DoD Minimum Antiterrorism Standards for Buildings.

The alteration project was programmed to realign the services that remained within the hospital following the relocation of primary care and musculoskeletal outpatient services to a the new Soldier & Family Care Clinic (SFCC). Vacated spaces allowed for expansion of services that remain in the Hospital.
